Q1 2019 Release Highlights: SuccessFactors Mobile

SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q1 2019 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Mobile.

Performance Reviews: Support Send to Previous Step – iOS & Android

If a Performance Review Form is in a locked stage within a collaborative step, users will see a message informing them that the form is locked by a specific user and will be able to open the form with the read-only mode.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? Mobile users should be able to complete Performance Review forms that contain all types of modification steps.

CDP: Support Career Development Goal Plans - iOS & Andriod

Mobile users will have the ability to manage their Career Development Goals Plan from the Mobile Goals section.

Configuration Type: Opt-in

Why is it important? In addition to Performance Goals Plan management, users will be able to manage their Career Development Goals Plan with the ability to add, edit or delete goals and access the history of Development Plans.

360 Reviews: Add/Edit/Delete Goals & Custom Sections – iOS & Android

This enhancement allows a user to Add/Edit/Delete Performance Goals, Development Goals and View & Edit custom elements in custom sections in the 360 Review forms.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? This enhancement will provide users with more capabilities to operate 360 Review forms from their mobile devices.

Learning: Programs - Andriod

Learning Programs will be visible from the mobile application. Mobile Learning users will be able to Search and find Programs in the course catalog and then assign the program to themselves, view a Program’s overview, description and agenda including the sections and a preview of the items within a section, and, Complete items within a Program including Online Courses, HTML, text and URL.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? Lack of Learning Program support on the Mobile app is preventing Learning customers from being able to use Mobile Learning successfully.

Minor but Helpful Enhancements:

Learning – iOS & Android: Deep links to Learning Catalog Search and Current Registrations will be supported so that users will be able to click the link and navigate directly to the relevant screens.
Recruiting: Link to Career Site – iOS & Android: This new feature enables employees to access an internal career site from their iOS and Android Mobile app. Configuration Type: Opt-in So what? This enhancement will provide users with a consistent and branded experience when browsing and applying for internal job positions.
Time and Attendance- iOS – iOS users will have the ability to review and manage the Time Sheet approvals. Managers will be able to approve, delegate, and decline time sheets.
Multiple Themes for Mobile – iOS & Android: This enhancement allows Administrators to manage Multiple Themes on the iOS and Android SAP SuccessFactors Mobile apps when this desktop application setting is enabled.
