Q2 2019 Release Highlights: SuccessFactors Mobile

SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q2 2019 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Mobile.

EC: Employee Central Service Center for Employee – iOS & Android

The mobile user will be able to leverage EC Service Center (ASK HR) to get answers to their HR-related questions by Creating a New HR Ticket, Search & Filter on My HR tickets, View, Edit & Reply my HR tickets, contact HR Service Center by making a phone call or sending an email.

Configuration Type: Opt-in

Why is it important? This new mobile feature is critical for EC Service Center customers and provides them a flexible way to leverage the solution from both web and mobile device, with consistent user experience and capability.

Learning: Open Content Network (OCN) Providers – Android

Users from learning customers who are using an open content network provider for external learning content will be able to search, find and assign the external content. Users will also be able to view the external content in their Assignment list and launch and complete the course.

Configuration Type:  Universal

Why is it important? As more and more learning customers are leveraging external open network content providers, it is critical that these external learnings can be launched and completed from a mobile device.

Recruiting: Job Requisition Approval – iOS

Users will have the ability to review and edit the Job Requisition approvals. Manager will be able to approve, delegate, and decline them.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? This enhancement will provide users with upgraded user experience. The relevant info will be easily accessible so managers can take advised actions.

Time and Attendance: Time Sheet Approval – Android

Users will have the ability to review and manage the Time Sheet approvals Managers will be able to approve, delegate, and decline timesheets.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? This enhancement will provide users with upgraded user experience. The relevant info will be easily accessible so managers can take advised actions.

Minor but Helpful Enhancements:

• Learning – iOS: Learning Item Details page will be redesigned to support item cover pages but also to provide a better user experience for Learning users.
• Continuous Feedback: – iOS & Android: Employees will be able to view the feedback requests they have sent and their corresponding status. Managers will be able to view the feedback requests they have sent for their direct reports from Direct Report’s CPM or My Team Employee Profile.
• Performance Management – iOS & Android: Users will be able to manage section weight and item weight in the forms if permission allows by viewing/editing weight in Performance Goal Section, Development Goal Section, and Competency Section.
