SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q3 2017 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Compensation Management.

Expand/Collapse Worksheet Column Groups

Compensation Planners can expand/collapse column groups with one click to show/hide all the columns. In the collapse view, only the first column will show within the group. (Note: V12 Worksheet required)

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? There are often a large number of columns on worksheets. This gives planners more control on what to view at a particular time.

Floating Panels for Budget, Metrics, Approvals and Instructions

Panels on the worksheet and Executive Review open up as floating panels that can drag and drop anywhere on the screen. (Note: V12 Worksheet Required)

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? Provides more room on worksheet to view more employees.

Mass Actions

Admins may now filter for a group of users in Executive Review and mass increase/decrease the aggregate recommendation amount. This is only available on the Salary Tab. (Note: V12 Worksheet required)

Configuration Type: Admin Opt-in

Why is it important? Allows users to skip the export/import process and make all changes in the system.

Compensation Custom Fields in Executive Review

Users can designate up to 3 compensation custom fields to be used as Executive Review filters. The Feature is Feature is enabled in Advance Settings and available for non-EC enabled templated only. Custom fields must be string type and V12 worksheet is required.

Configuration Type: Admin Opt-in

Why is it important? This enhancement allows filtering on more custom fields.

Other Minor but Helpful Enhancements:

  • Compensation Statements Download: statements can be downloaded in PDF files from People Profile3
  • Character Limitation on Award Amount Field: limitation of 6 numeral for the award has been removed, now can be any number of numeral. If the number is more than 12, it would get wrapped to the next line.

It's recommended to switch to V12 worksheet as soon as possible, as all enhancements are being made on this version. Q2 2018 release will enable new worksheet to all customers.
