Written by AltaFlux Corporation | November 7, 2017

SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q4 2017 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Mobile.

Performance Review – iOS & Android

Mobile users now can edit & view section comments in Performance Goal, Development Goal, Competency and custom sections. They can also send Performance Forms within an Iterative Route Map Step

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? Mobile users should be able to complete their Performance Reviews from their device anywhere, anytime.

Recruiting: Job Requisition Send to Previous Step – iOS & Android

Mobile users will now have the ability to reject/send a Job Requisition to the previous step from their mobile device if send to previous step has been configured for a job requisition template

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important?  Previously, users were only able to approve Job Requisition approvals from their mobile device. With this enhancement, users can now review a job requisition approval detail and approve or reject.

Easier Activation of Mobile Profiles – iOS & Android

First-time login users can simply search for their company profile, provide their username and password and login for activating the app after they download

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? Users no longer have to retrieve a QR code from their SuccessFactors Profile to log into their mobile app. The new profile activation is more intuitive and easy to use.

Other Minor but Helpful Enhancements for iOS & Andriod:

  • Learning: Mobile Enabled Content – Users can easily determine from the item description in My Assignments and catalog searches which content is designed and enabled for Mobile with the newly introduced “Mobile Enabled Content” flag.
  • Learning: User Evaluation Surveys – User evaluation surveys can now be accessed and completed from within “My Assignments” on the mobile app.
  • Learning: E-Signatures – Users can now access and submit their E-Signatures for items that require an electronic signature.
  • Mobile Authentication Improvements – Admins can now set a duration after which users will be required to re-login, by providing their username and password or SSO credentials.
  • Time Off – Partial day leaves for time off (clock time configuration) are now supported.
