Q4 2018 Release Highlights: SuccessFactors Mobile

SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q4 2018 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Mobile.

Performance Reviews: Support Collaborative Route Map Step – iOS & Android

If a Performance Review Form is in a locked stage within a collaborative step, users will see a message informing them that the form is locked by a specific user and will be able to open the form with the read-only mode.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? Mobile users should be able to complete Performance Review forms that contain all types of modification steps.

Learning: Programs- iOS

Mobile Learning users will be able to, search and find Programs in the course catalog and then assign the program to themselves, view a Program’s overview, description and agenda including the sections and a preview of the items within a section, and, Complete items within a Program including Online Courses, HTML, Text and URL.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? Lack of Learning Program support on the mobile app is preventing Learning customers from being able to use Mobile Learning successfully.

EC Payroll: Payroll Information Simplification – iOS & Android

This enhancement allows a simplified configuration for Payroll information in the app. Only the list of Pay Statements is shown.

Configuration Type: Opt-in

Why is it important? This enhancement will provide users with an upgraded user experience to access Pay Statements on mobile.

Talent/Learning: Create Achievement & Activities based on Learning Courses and Learning Items– iOS

Mobile Learning users will be able to, Create CPM Achievements from the history details screen of successfully completed Learning Items, Create CPM Activities from the item details screen of Learning Items added to My Assignments, and, Create CPM Activity when assigning a learning item to themselves from Catalog search.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? This feature improves the user experience for Mobile Learning & CPM users by removing the navigate between tabs to add CPM items based on Learning Items.

Minor but Helpful Enhancements:

Multiple Screen Design Updates – Android: Mobile users will have access to a new design of Home Screen, Employee Profile screen, Approval screen, and, Continuous Performance Management Screen.
Org Chart Navigation Re-Design – iOS: iOS users will have access to a renewed Org Chart navigation. Current Org Chart structure is based on the employee in the center hierarchy. The new structure will be baseds on managers in addition to the new structure, smoother transitions and more intuitive animations will be implemented.
Performance Reviews: Enhance User Experience of To-Do List View- iOS & Android: – Added search feature in Performance Reviews list under To-Do list view to help users find specific Performance Review forms efficiently.
Learning Certificates of Completion - Android: Learning Certificates of Completion created using custom templates, will be displayed on Mobile.
