For our readers benefit, AltaFlux would summarize the improvements and product enhancements in Dell Boomi Atomsphere. The following are improvements to the January 2016 release of Dell Boomi AtomSphere

WHAT: January Release - Scheduled Maintenance

WHEN: On Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 12:00 am to 4:00 am EST

IMPACT: Boomi users will be unable to access their accounts during this time.

DETAILS: Local Atoms will be restarted to complete the update, but restart time should be minimal. However, any processes scheduled to run during the restart window may be rejected. Processes scheduled to run in the Atom Cloud will be rejected during this time but will resume the schedule after the maintenance period is complete.

  • Atoms retrieve updates from a content delivery web service for increased efficiency.
  • The new Java upgrader makes it easier than ever to use the latest version of Java to power your deployments.
  • More easily deploy Atoms, Molecules and Atom Clouds using Docker (Tech Preview).
  • To facilitate Atom oversight and guidance, user edits of account, Atom and process properties are now captured in the audit log.
  • Flexible test mode limits are available as an optional account feature to enable you to perform more robust testing of your integrations.
  • More easily find system notifications and manage them.
  • Dell Boomi partners are now able to set the user authentication type for an Atom’s shared web server via the AtomSphere API.
  • Usability improvements include the reorganization of links in the Welcome tab and throughout AtomSphere more access to help.
  • New options for configuring web service SOAP APIs provide an increased level of flexibility for your event-based integrations.
  • Increase the power of queries in your Salesforce integrations.
  • Leverage the latest release of NetSuite’s API to supercharge your integrations.
  • Enjoy smarter QuickBooks connectivity thanks to improvements in the handling of registry updates.
  • A newly available cloud connection profile for Microsoft Azure SQL databases enables you to increase the power of your integrations.
