SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q2 2017 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Platform.
User Experience (UX)
Previously, the My Workflow Requests had no option to approve several requests at once and didn’t have many filter and sorting options. Now the Approver can Mass-Approve, filter out certain workflow requests and sort it based on different values.
Configuration Type: Universal
Why is it important? Advanced ToDo UI/My Workflow Requests filter enhancement and sorting options helps the approvers to look at the requests to prioritize and manage the requests in a timely manner. Mass approval helps the approver to save time by approving several requests at once. Prerequisites for this enhancement are New Home Page and Employee Central.
MDF Workflow
The MDF workflow now supports a more intuitive To-Do items with user/Object information.
Configuration Type: Universal
Why is it important? Before this enhancement, the approvers didn’t have much information about the approval request details in the To-Do items. Post this enhancement, the To-Do items are more intuitive and includes the User Details and Object details.
Restrict Concurrent BizX Sessions
Before this enhancement, a user could be logged into their BizX account from multiple devices. Now, multiple sessions can be restricted and will prompt a user to logout of other sessions before starting a new session for non-SSO systems.
Configuration Type: Provisioning Opt In
Why is it important? Multiple concurrent sessions for one user could be a potential security flaw.
Other Helpful Enhancements:
- Integration Center: Integration center now supports SOAP based outbound integrations and any outbound files can now be signed by PGP key.
- Intelligent Services Center (ISC): Admin users can now upgrade to Intelligent Services Center using upgrade center who are using Event Center.
