SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q4 2019 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Recruiting, Recruiting Marketing/Career Site Builder and Recruiting Posting.

Support Business Rules on Job Application

As part of the second release for the support of Business rules on the Job Application, Recruiting users with admin privileges can define Business Rules for fields of an Application template:

  • Rule for Offer Template Selection
  • Rule for Offer Approval
  • Rule for Candidate Decision on Offer Letter
  • Rule for Electronic Signature on Offer Letter

Why is it important? Customers can leverage the Business Rule engine to support client business processes.

Evergreen Requisitions (BETA)

An Evergreen requisition is used by companies to generate a pool of potential candidates for positions that are hard to fill or there is a volume number of positions available and the need to have a permanent list of potential candidates is needed. These requisitions are generally posted for a longer duration, simpler to create and post, may have less fields within the template and more generic requirements.

Why is it important? Recruiters no longer need to click on “Post and Manage jobs” to perform an action on their job postings.

Automated Correction of Job Board Credentials

Credentials are needed to connect a customer's Recruiting Posting account to a given Job Board. Depending on the Job Board, all or part of these credentials are owned by the Job Board (i.e. it is the Job Board that provides Recruiting Posting with these credentials). The goal of this feature is to implement an automated workflow so that Job Boards can correct the credentials without any action from the customers.

Why is it important? This automated workflow eliminates the need for customers to reach out to SAP Customer support to have their credentials manually updated.

Minor but Helpful Enhancements:

  • Enhanced Filter Options for Applicant List Page: The filter options on the applicant list page have been enhanced to include more fields such as current company, current title, veteran status and a number of custom fields.
  • Quick Apply: Recruiters can Create a Quick apply requisition and generate a potential list of candidates
  • Job Posting Rules – Posting Profile Preselection Rules: Admins can now create rules that would automatically pre-select the Posting Profile based on the content of the job requisition fields.
  • Editing Job Posting New Behavior: From now on, the job posting form is pre-populated with the latest job requisition content, based on the field completion rules that are set when editing the job.
  • Data Privacy Compliance based Candidate search: It is an admin opt-in feature for DPCS2 customers, which allows the candidate to be searchable ONLY if he/she has accepted the data privacy consent statement.
  • Email Verification for CAS: RCM Email Verification feature has been extended for Candidate Account Simplification (CAS) enabled instances.
  • Mass Printing: It is possible to print attachments uploaded in the application for multiple candidates.
  • Users to Posting Profile improvements: The information displayed on the UPPA tile contains increased content for Recruiting Management users.
