SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q1 2018 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SAP Jam.
Simplified Custom Home Page Layout
Admins can independently create and maintain company and area home pages which are accesible using the menu tabs.

Why is it important? Admins have full flexibility in targeting the right content for their audience with easy and quick access to relevant content and clear page ownership.
Home Page Analytics
Export data to MS Excel, filter data by time period, admin / non-admins, Top 10 Most Engaged Items and Top 10 Most Engaged Users leaderboards support with new home page analytics enhancements.

Why is it important? Monitor employee consumption and contribution patterns, offline data analysis and measure ROI for content published on the intranet.
Content Management
Embedded fonts in Microsoft Office documents are now respected, select multiple group members to remove at once.

Why is it important? Documents are previewed as they were designed in Microsoft Office to support corporate branding. Easily and quickly search and remove inactive group memebrs which makes large group management easier.
Enhanced Media and Document Viewing
Mobile enhancements such as Swipe to change page, image and document pinch, pan & zoom, tap for full screen and Jump to any page of a document has been added.

Why is it important? Easily navigate a multipage document, jump to any page of a large document with ease, quickly and intuitively zoom to any part of an image or a document.
Google Analytics Integration
- Enables tracking of the SAP Jam user activity (views) using Google Analytics.
Configuration Type: Admin opt-in
Why is it important? Allows customers to understand user behavior and work flows across multiple solutions that compose their Intranet.
Other Minor but Helpful Enhancements:
- Rearrange Menu Tabs: Move an individual menu tab anywhere (left, right, up, down) within the company or area along with prioritizing the display order of company and area tabs.
- Private Group: Group admin can allow others to search and request to join their private group which they can accept or decline.
- Wiki/Blog/QID Editor – Most common editing features are kept in the toolbar by moving away less common features into menus. Configuration Type: Universal So what? Less cluttered toolbar for faster access.
