SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q2 2018 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics.

Enter Employee ID into Runtime Filter

This enhancement will allow customers to copy paste specific list of employee IDs value into runtime filter.

Why is it important? HR often need to run reports for specific employees, selecting the IDs one by one is cumbersome. This will resolve that inefficiency.

Adhoc Reports Cannot Be Used to Build Queries Within ORD

Queries created with AdHoc reports can no longer be imported into ORD for report building. Queries will have to be directly created in ORD.

Why is it important? This is to improve performance and reporting capability. Customers who use adhoc reports to build ORD need to look out for this.

Headcount Planning

Few text and terms have been simplified and aligned across the tool. Example: Addition is replaced by Planned positions, clone is replaced by copy position etc.

Why is it important? Improved user experience.

Minor and other noteworthy enhancements:

  • Sensitive fields from a GDPR perspective will be shown with a sensitive label in the report designer.
  • Report center can now ONLY be activated via Upgrade Center.
  • Canvas orphan pages can now be deleted.
  • Check tool can be used to check and identify issues on reports.
  • SFTP retention policy: all files stored on SuccessFactors SFTP will be purged after 14 days.
  • Fix: The last modified date on dashboards will only update when edited by a user.
