Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Onboarding. **Compliance** - Federal W4 panel now allows up to 3 characters in the withholding allowance field. The maximum total allowances changes from 99 to 999. - Updated text added to the form and added Italian as another optional preferred language with New York Wage Theft Protection Act form - E-Verify: Added new logic under passport number for citizenship status, new logic for alien number, I94 number and passport number for citizenship status - More options added for SSA issuing authority **Configuration Type**: Universal > **Why is it important?** SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding makes it easier for clients to stay in compliance based on various country requirements. **Important Upcoming Compliance Release Items** - New US I-9 was released on July 17th. The deadline to begin using the new US I-9 is September 17th - Canada has released some midyear updates to Federal TD1, Quebec TP-1015.3, Ontario TD1, Prince Edward Islands TD1, Saskatchewan TD1 - Australian TFN Declaration form October 01st: Working Holiday Makers (WHM) that effectively are backpackers on a Visa for travel but can work and are taxed at a different rate **Configuration Type:** Universal > **Why is it important?** More compliance updates will be automatically updated in the system soon. The release details will be available in the SuccessFactors community product release page. **Other Minor but Helpful Enhancements:** New hires can now complete the onboarding panels on Android Devices. **Configuration Type:** Universal **Prerequisite:** Android version 4.0+, Default browser or Google Chrome, SAP Signature Management by DocuSign with Remote Signing enabled > **Why is it important?** Previously, onboarding panels were only able to be completed on iOS devices for mobile. **Other Minor but Helpful Enhancements:** - **Multi Panel (Universal):** Previously, users would have to delete all panels after the one they want to delete and re-enter the information on multiple panels. This update allows the deletion of middle panels in a multi panel entry. Delete button now enabled to delete the middle panel.  - **ONB-EC XML Mapping (Universal):** Prior to this update, when the XML for ONB to EC mapping was updated, it caused an error with any previously mapped job.code data. Now the XML will no longer overwrite UI mapped fields from ONB to EC. - **Variant Alerts (Universal):** Prior to this update, no warnings would display when the variant is left blank for job classification.
