SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q3 2018 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Onboarding.
Compliance
- US Kentucky K-4 state withholding - moved to a flat tax, added exceptions that can be selected. Panel completely overhauled; will not be available until Sept 2018.
- Removed Kentucky K-4M form and panel because the form is now combined with the K-4.
- US Oklahoma W-4 state withholding, new panel and form; new state withholding will be available September 2018.
- Verify Social Security Number Verification Panel from Orientation step was set to be removed last Quarterly Release but unable to do so until now.
Notable Fixed Issues

Update voluntary self id of disability form to the updated version that expires in 2020.

DocuSign/clickToSign on the Signature page did not load correctly. Now this works based on which option the client has configured.

Pagination for the Document Center Audit Area was not loading after page 1. Now this function is working properly.

Data Purge was failing for some countries. Data is purged consistently at this time. on if the number of days configured exceeds the number of days since the manager or employee pressed the capture meeting button.
Onboarding 2.0 (formerly known as Onboarding 2018) Enhancements
- Data Privacy and Security: Ensuring compliance by change logging for personal data, read logging for sensitive personal data, date purge, consent and Information Reporting.
- Furnish Equipment Intelligent Services Event and OData API: Enhancement provides the following supported operations: Query, Upsert, Insert, Merge, Replace and Delete to extend the onboarding workflow to external systems.
