SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q3 2018 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) and Recruiting Marketing (RMK).

Major Enhancements

Email Campaigns: Allows customers to stay in touch with the candidate by creating and sending branded emails. Statistics are gathered about the email campaign such as views, clicks, and unsubscribes.

Configuration Type: Upgrade Center Opt-in

Why is it important? Customers are able to receive replies to the email campaign in your inbox, select brand consist layouts, send emails to thousands of internal and external candidates at once and track the emails to review the statistics.

Candidate Profile Updates for Email Campaigns

Recruiting Users can now view email campaigns sent to the candidate are now shown in the new email campaigns portlet within the candidate profile.

Configuration Type: Upgrade Center Opt-in

Why is it important? You can add a candidate to draft Email Campaigns through the Email Campaign Portlet in the Candidate Profile. View previous campaigns the candidate received. Viewable by Recruiting Users only and not candidates.

Marketing Email Consent Management: A Candidate can chose to opt-in or out of marketing emails.

Why is it important? The value for candidate consent is now stored in Recruiting Management. 

Ad Hoc Reporting for Talent Pool and Email Campaign

Via Recruiting V2 Schema, Email Campaign information and Talent Pool information are now reportable via Ad Hoc Reports.

Configuration Type: Upgrade Center Opt-in

Why is it important? Details of a Talent Pool and Email Campaign along with Candidates in a Talent Pool and Email Campaign can now be reported on.

Minor Enhancements

Data Privacy and Security: Ensuring compliance by change logging for personal data, read logging for sensitive personal data, date purge, consent and Information Reporting.

Configuration Type: Provisioning Opt-in(beta features only)

Why is it important? Ensures customers are compliant with any data privacy and security regulations by providing the tools they need.

Data Purge: Jobs Applied Portlet will no longer be visible on an Anonymized Application. Interview Feedback will be deleted from the system.

Configuration Type: Universal Enhancement

Why is it important? Attachments no longer relevant will be purged. Candidates linked to Anonymized Applications can no longer be identified by users.

Job Alerts

Enhancement provides improvement on how Job Alerts are manually created and viewed.

Configuration Type: Universal

Why is it important? Job alerts will now be intuitive and consistent across Candidate Account Simplification, RMK Business Card/Profile and Candidate SSO

Multi-Location Job Posting

Enhancement provides additional location values are supported in the RMK Faceted Picklist Search, Google Map shows additional locations per posting, CSB Category management supports additional locations. on how Job Alerts are manually created and viewed.

Configuration Type: Opt-In

Why is it important?This further enhances the existing multi-location functionality.

RMK Search Multi-Location Job Posting

Fields associated with the RMK More Options/Pick List search fields by locale values. The options are to show the values for all locales for each field or to constrain the values to the locale of the page/user.

Configuration Type: Admin Opt-In

Why is it important? Clients control how these fields perform for their search.
