SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q3 2019 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Mobile.
Learning: Redesign of Mobile Content Structure Page – iOS
The Learning Content Structure page viewed from mobile will be redesigned to provide mobile users with mobile specific user experience. In its first phase, the mobile content structure page will not be supported for the following situations and users will continue to see the existing content structure page: Blended items, Content created using SCORM 2004 2nd & 4th edition, Commerce Courses (except courses purchased via web or with distributed charges), Courses with eSig, External users, and for users without catalog access.

Why is it important? As the mobile learning industry progresses, users experience an up to date look in feel for all things related to learning.
End of Support – Android & iOS
As of the July 2019 Mobile Release, the SAP SuccessFactors Android mobile application will suspend support for Android OS 5.X and promote the use of Android OS 6.X and above. As of the November 2019 Mobile Release, the SAP SuccessFactors Android mobile application will no longer be available for download in the Greater China Amazon App Store. Greater China customers who were previously downloading the Android application from the Amazon App Store should now utilize the Greater China Tencent App Store. As of the December 2019 Mobile Release, the SAP SuccessFactors iOS mobile application will suspend support for iOS 11.X and promote the use of iOS 12.X and above.

Why is it important? We encourage our customers to inform their employees who use Android OS 5.X to update their devices to Android OS 6.X or above and who use iOS 11.X to update their devices to iOS 12.X or above.
Minor but Helpful Enhancements:
- Learning – iOS: Deep links to Registration details will be supported in the mobile application so that users will be able to click a link and navigate directly to the Registration details screen, respectively.
- Time and Attendance – iOS & Android: Mobile Timesheet users will now have the ability to Amend an Approved Timesheet. Once the amendments are made they can re-submit the edited Timesheet for approval.
