SAP SuccessFactors has delivered enhancements and updates across the SAP SuccessFactors® HCM Suite as part of their Q2 2018 product release. Here are a few key updates you should consider for SuccessFactors Mobile.
Navigational Deeplink Support – iOS & Android
Navigational deeplinks that will take users to specific screens in the mobile app when clicked on from a mobile device is supported.
Why is it important? These Deeplinks can be used to launch SuccessFactors mobile app from custom applications by embedding the navigational Deeplink for the specific screen.
Org Chart: Support RBP Permissions for more items- iOS & Android
Mobile Org Chart will now apply RBP permissions when viewing inactive users, contingency users, matrix managers, matrix reports, and photos.
Why is it important? Customers need the ability to hide inactive users, matrix managers, matrix reports, contingency users or photos of the employee.
Learning: LearnTest App – iOS
The existing (iPad only) Learning LearnTest app will support all iOS (iPhone & iPad) devices so that content can be tested and optimized with new content rendering technology that includes an option to try out and provide feedback.
Why is it important? Learning users expect to be able to find, launch and complete learning courses from their mobile devices so it is critical that admins have content testing tools available to ensure the content is working properly.
Learning: Offline Mode– Android
Android users will have the ability to download online content and complete courses when they are online or offline.
Why is it important? Mobile users should be able to download online content and complete the course offline regardless of which kind of device they are using, iOS or Android.
Other Minor but Helpful Enhancements:
- Continuous Feedback – iOS & Android: Continuous feedback is now supported in mobile
- Sub-Goal Tables & Comments - Android: The mobile goals management feature will now support add, edit and delete sub-goal tables and fields – Tasks, Milestones, Targets.
- Learning: Programs – iOS & Android: – Learning programs will be visible from the mobile app.
- Performance Reviews - Android: Mobile Performance Reviews has been updated to allow Android mobile users to add, edit and delete Performance Goals and Development goals, add and delete competencies, edit and view all custom element types in custom sections, and, apply legal scan on text entered in “textarea” fields.
